Intersecting farming, climate, and health: An on-farm summit.
In July of 2025 producers and healthcare professionals met to explore how sustainable, organic farming can foster healthier, climate-resilient crops and communities.

HOSTED BY: Bob Quinn Institute

The Quinn Institute symbolizes the power of organic and regenerative agriculture. Founded by Bob Quinn, a 4th-generation Montana farmer, author, scientist, and sustainable farming advocate, it reflects his lifelong effort to harmonize farming with nature.

AND
HOSTED BY: Vilicus Farms

Anna and Doug Crabtree envisioned Vilicus Farms over 30 years ago, drawing from their experience in North American agriculture. The name was chosen carefully: in Latin, there are two words for “farmer.” Agricola means a land laborer, often a slave in Rome. Vilicus translates to “steward of the land.” Anna and Doug aim to power their farm through people, community, and love, embodying true land stewardship.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION BY: C&S Produce

Charlie Overbay is a Montana corn grower and the owner of C&S Produce, a certified organic farm in Big Sandy, MT. He collaborates with Dave Christensen, the founder of Seed We Need®, in developing and breeding new corn varieties.
